Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between AEKO Intelligence ("Company") and users regarding the use of the AEKO service ("Service"). By signing up for or using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1. Service Overview
AEKO is an AI Engine Optimization (AEO) platform that helps global sellers monitor and optimize how their products are recommended by AI engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.

Article 2. Agreement to Terms & Accounts
A Microsoft account is required to sign up for the Service. By signing up, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Users are obligated to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Accounts may not be transferred to or shared with third parties.
- Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported to the Company immediately.
- Users under the age of 19 are not permitted to use the Service.

① Free Trial
- A 7-day free trial is provided upon initial sign-up.
- No charges are incurred during the free trial period.
- If a payment method is not registered before the trial ends, access to the Service will be restricted.
② Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions are automatically renewed on a monthly basis.
- Payment is automatically charged to the registered payment method the day before the renewal date.
- If payment fails, access to the Service may be temporarily restricted, and you will be asked to update your payment method.
③ Payment Methods
- Payments are processed through Toss Payments.
- Domestic and international credit and debit cards are accepted.
Article 4. Refund Policy
① Cancellation During Free Trial
If you cancel during the 7-day free trial, no charges will be incurred. If no payment method has been registered, the trial will expire automatically without any cancellation process.
② Cancellation & Refund During Paid Subscription
The AEKO Service provides digital services and content (intangible goods). A pro-rata refund is available for the remaining unused period of the current billing cycle.
The refund amount is calculated as follows:
Refund = (Monthly fee ÷ 30) × Remaining days
"Remaining days" refers to the number of days left in the current billing cycle from the date the refund is requested. A payment processing fee (3% of the payment amount) may be deducted.
After cancellation, you may continue to use the Service until the end of the current billing cycle. Auto-renewal will be discontinued thereafter.
③ Exceptional Refunds
In the event of a service outage lasting 72 consecutive hours or more due to reasons attributable to the Company, a service extension or refund proportional to the outage duration will be provided. For refund inquiries, please contact support@aeko-intelligence.com.
Article 5. Service Restrictions & Usage Rules
Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:
- Using the Service for illegal purposes
- Automated mass requests that place excessive load on the Company's servers
- Unauthorized collection or use of other users' personal information
- Reverse engineering or copying the Service's source code or algorithms
- Using the Service to develop competing products or services
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
If a user violates the above rules, the Company may restrict access to the Service or terminate the account without prior notice.
Article 6. Disclaimer
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI analysis results provided through the Service, and is not liable for business decisions made based on such results.
- The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, internet outages, or external AI API service disruptions.
- Responses from AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) are beyond the Company's control, and the Company is not responsible for service impacts caused by changes in those AI engines' policies.
- Except for damages caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service is limited.
Article 7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, designs, logos, text, and databases, belong to the Company. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell the Company's intellectual property for purposes other than using the Service.
Data created by users in the course of using the Service (such as domain analysis settings and prompt lists) remains the property of the user. The Company processes such data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Article 8. Changes to Terms
The Company may modify these Terms as necessary. In the event of changes, users will be notified at least 7 days before the effective date via in-service notice or email.
Users who do not agree to the revised Terms may discontinue use of the Service and close their account. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
