Optimization Suggestions
How AEKO generates suggestions and how to act on them.
How Suggestions Work
AEKO analyzes your visibility data, website infrastructure, and competitive landscape to generate prioritized optimization recommendations. Rather than a generic checklist, suggestions are grounded in your actual tracking data and competitive comparisons, surfacing the highest-impact items first.
The suggestion list is not static. As new AI response data comes in and your visibility changes, suggestions update automatically. When a completed optimization starts showing results, that item moves to your history and new opportunities appear.
Analysis-Driven Recommendations
AEKO cross-references the prompts where you aren't mentioned, the sources your competitors are cited from, and the technical gaps on your pages. Each suggestion comes with context: not just what to do, but why it matters right now.
Priority Levels
Each suggestion is assigned one of three priority levels based on its immediate impact on visibility and ease of implementation.
High
Critical issues actively harming your visibility. Examples: robots.txt blocking AI crawlers, missing JSON-LD across product pages, absence from high-intent prompts. Address these immediately.
Medium
Improvements that will reliably boost performance. Examples: enriching product descriptions, adding review content, creating content for emerging prompts. Work through these after high-priority items.
Low
Nice-to-have optimizations that aren't urgent. Examples: image alt text cleanup, meta tag fine-tuning, supplementary FAQ content. Tackle these when you have spare capacity.
Suggestion Categories
Suggestions are organized into six categories, each addressing a distinct area that influences AI visibility.

Generate with AI
Certain suggestions in the Content Creation and Content Blog categories have a "Generate with AI" button. Clicking it uses your product data, competitive analysis, and target market info as context for AI to produce a content draft automatically.
The generated content is a starting point for review and editing. The AI produces copy reflecting your product strengths, competitor differentiation, and target market conventions. Edit it to match your brand voice before publishing.
Supported Content Types
- Product descriptions and feature copy
- Blog post drafts (buying guides, comparison articles)
- FAQ content in question-and-answer format
- JSON-LD structured data snippets
Managing Suggestions
You can manage the status of each suggestion from the Optimization Suggestions page. Keeping your list current makes it easier to track progress and correlate visibility changes with actions taken.
Mark as Complete
Once implemented, mark the suggestion as complete. AEKO compares visibility metrics before and after to measure impact.
Dismiss
Dismiss suggestions that don't apply to your situation. They're removed from the active list so you can focus on what's relevant.
Before & After
For completed suggestions, view visibility score, mention count, and SOV changes side by side to validate which optimizations work best.
Agent Auto-Completion
If you have an AEKO Agent connected, Claude can directly execute optimization suggestions on your behalf. Instead of manually writing content or editing code, hand the suggestion to Claude and it uses AEKO's tools to handle it automatically.
Agent Auto-Completion Workflow
- Claude reads the suggestion details and product context from AEKO
- Uses AEKO tools to fetch competitive data and source information
- Generates the content or structured data the suggestion calls for
- You review the output and decide whether to publish
